Happy to get work in Kurban Ali village of Siddharthnagar

Under the Self-Reliant India Package, 20% more additional funds are being provided from banks in the form of loans to assist small, micro and medium industrial units. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will distribute a loan of 5000 crore to 2 lakh 21 thousand units of Uttar Pradesh.
The Covid-19 from China has adversely affected the general workforce and especially the migrant workers. This has led to large number of migrant workers returning to various states. Due to this, the government faced the challenge of providing basic necessities and means of livelihood to the migrant and rural labor-workers along with dealing with Covid-19. In view of this, the Government of India announced a self-sufficient India package to support various sectors. The Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan was launched on 20 June 2020 with the aim of creating employment opportunities by creating a strong infrastructure in the backward areas of the country.

Additional Chief Secretary Department of Micro and Medium Industries Navneet Sehgal told that Yogi Adityanath government is going to do the biggest employment management work so far, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will give a letter of job to many people. The leading industrial institutions, which had signed an MoU under the leadership, had decided to provide employment to a large number of migrant laborers. All the institutions are going to provide employment to 11 lakh migrant laborers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give appointment letters on behalf of these institutions to 2 lakh migrant workers.

MSME department will also provide loans to laborers
The MSME department was still playing an active role in providing loans to entrepreneurs. Now the Chief Minister has instructed that if the laborers are also eligible to get loan in the government schemes, then the MSME department should coordinate with the banks and get them the loan. The government believes that this will increase both self-employment and employment. During the lockdown, 35 lakh migrant laborers have returned to UP.
