PM Modi : CM Yogi Launch Atma Nirbhar Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched a self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan to provide employment to migrant workers and workers who returned to the state in lockdown due to the spread of corona virus infection. During this, he also held talks with some beneficiaries of this campaign to provide employment to one crore 25 lakh people. 

PM Modi said during this time that the Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has done the work to stop the spread of the global epidemic corona virus infection. He is highly praised. Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, the government left behind developed countries like Europe, France, Italy and Spain in the measures and solution to save their people from this epidemic. The Yogi Adityanath government did not miss the opportunity to turn disaster into opportunity. Yogi Adityanath Sarkar fought strongly at every turn of the crisis. 

PM Modi said that the efforts and achievements of Uttar Pradesh are huge in this crisis because it is not just one state, but Uttar Pradesh is a bigger state than many countries of the world. People of Uttar Pradesh are realizing this achievement themselves, but if you know the figures then you will be shocked. Be it UP’s doctors, paramedical staff, sweepers, policemen, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, bank and postoffice colleagues, transport department partners, labor colleagues, Everyone has contributed with full devotion. Uttar Pradesh has done the job of showing a mirror to the world surrounded by the uncertainty prevailing in the global epidemic of corona virus infection. Due to this crisis in the world, there was a possibility of losing employment in large numbers. In such a situation, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with a combative image, not only waged a campaign to bring back the migrant people from other states, but also started the exercise to provide employment to them.

PM Modi said that you people should avoid Corona virus. No medicine has been made and no vaccine has been made so far. We know its a medicine. This medicine is two yards away. These medicines are – covering the mouth, using face cover or pot. Until the corona vaccine is made, we will be able to stop it with this medicine.

Bundelkhand expressway will change the fate of the entire area

Initiating the UP Garib Kalyan Abhiyan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Kamgar Jeetu Ji of Jalaun district. Jeetu told him that he used to work in Hyderabad before the lockdown. Returned home after lockdown and now working in Bundelkhand Expressway. They are earning as much as they used to in Hyderabad. The Prime Minister addressed Jeetu as Jeetu Garu. 

Garu means as a respected worker. The Prime Minister assured that the fate of the Bundelkhand Expressway will change. Defense corridor is coming here. Industries are going to start in this water-starved area. Now no one has to go out for work from here. A world class road is being built here. Earlier people used to apply for the construction of mud roads. But now the fate of the whole Bundelkhand is changing.

Happy to get work in Kurban Ali village of Siddharthnagar

Kurban Ali of Kodara village in Siddharthnagar thanked PM Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath on getting the work done. He said that we used to do private work in the village before working in Mumbai, now we have got mason work. We are also training, we have got a certificate for this. 

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Garib Kalyan Rozgar Abhiyan, Yogi Adityanath weaved a plan for the self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan on the same lines. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this important campaign on Friday in the mega show of Yogi Adityanath government, which has created more than one crore jobs for such a short time. Team Yogi Adityanath tested his preparation with his team on Thursday at 11 am on Friday through video conferencing.

All the industrial units that were shut down in the lockdown have been restored after June 18. It has a total of 7 lakh 8 thousand industrial units, in which about 42 lakh workers will be accommodated. Under the Self-Reliant India Package, 20% more additional funds are being provided from banks in the form of loans to assist small, micro and medium industrial units. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will distribute a loan of 5000 crore to 2 lakh 21 thousand units of Uttar Pradesh.

The Covid-19 from China has adversely affected the general workforce and especially the migrant workers. This has led to large number of migrant workers returning to various states. Due to this, the government faced the challenge of providing basic necessities and means of livelihood to the migrant and rural labor-workers along with dealing with Covid-19. In view of this, the Government of India announced a self-sufficient India package to support various sectors. The Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyan was launched on 20 June 2020 with the aim of creating employment opportunities by creating a strong infrastructure in the backward areas of the country.

In a while, I will start the ‘Self-reliant Uttar Pradesh Rozgar Abhiyan’. Under this, local entrepreneurship will be promoted along with providing employment opportunities to migrant workers.

Beneficiaries from these districts will join

Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Sitapur, Balrampur, Bahraich, Shravasti, Gonda, Unnao, Jalaun, Banda, Fatehpur, Raebareli, Amethi, Ayodhya, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Pratapgarh, Sultanpur, Ambedkarranagar, Ambedkar Nagar, during the video conferencing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. , Maharajganj, Santakbir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Jaunpur and some beneficiaries of Azamgarh will join PM Narendra Modi on the webcast.  

Over 30 lakh migrant labor-workers returned to Uttar Pradesh. The number of workers-workers returning to the 31 districts of the state was more than 25,000. These include five fast emerging districts. Taking a step in this direction, the Uttar Pradesh government took an initiative in the form of a self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh Rojgar Abhiyan on the lines of the Central Government’s plan. There is participation of the state government as well as industry and other institutions in this. This campaign aims to tie industrial organizations and other institutions together to provide employment, promote entrepreneurship at the local level and provide employment opportunities.

The UP government claims that during this crisis of Corona itself, the government has created close to one crore ten lakh jobs through industry, construction projects, MNREGA etc. The pace of employment is yet to increase. Under this, the Prime Minister will launch this campaign on Friday at 11 am through video conferencing. On the occasion of this virtual launching, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, ministers of the concerned departments will also be present at the Chief Minister’s official residence.

It is the country’s largest employment program after the lockdown amid the spread of Corona virus infection. CM Yogi Adityanath has prepared an action plan to provide employment to the migrants in the state itself. Under this, tomorrow PM Narendra Modi will participate online in the program to give employment to 1.25 billion people of UP. During this time, PM Narendra Modi will also talk to labor-workers of six districts including Gorakhpur and Jalaun. Along with this, he will also communicate with some workers and workers. In this event, women will also share their experience with PM Narendra Modi. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of migrants in lockdown. They have been brought back by buses with the government train.

9126 crore loan will be distributed

9126 crore loan will be distributed to industrial units, the government is going to take many big steps in this mega show. Apart from employing 1.25 crore workers in various projects, 2.40 lakh units will be given a loan of Rs. 5900 crore, while 1.11 lakh new units will be given a loan of Rs. 3226 crore under the self-sufficient India package. Along with this, tool kits will be distributed to five thousand artisans under Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana and One District One Product Scheme.

Additional Chief Secretary Department of Micro and Medium Industries Navneet Sehgal told that Yogi Adityanath government is going to do the biggest employment management work so far, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will give a letter of job to many people. The leading industrial institutions, which had signed an MoU under the leadership, had decided to provide employment to a large number of migrant laborers. All the institutions are going to provide employment to 11 lakh migrant laborers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give appointment letters on behalf of these institutions to 2 lakh migrant workers.

Village Development and Panchayati Raj Department completed preparations

With the safe return of workers and workers from other states, the government took a big resolution that all the people who returned to the state would be given employment here. While the opposition is questioning the employment situation, the government claims that one crore employment opportunities have been created. The mega show of achievement will take place tomorrow. With this, the government is going to move towards the next big goal. The government has done skill mapping of nearly 36 lakh of the people who have returned from other states. An agreement has been reached with industrial institutions, under which entrepreneurs have been contacted and surveyed where there is a need for skilled-unskilled labor-workers. The full report of this survey is yet to come, before that the central and state government plans, construction projects, Employment was sought by setting up micro, small and medium units and all other departments including MNREGA. The government claims that more than one crore employment opportunities have been created under it.

MSME department will also provide loans to laborers

The MSME department was still playing an active role in providing loans to entrepreneurs. Now the Chief Minister has instructed that if the laborers are also eligible to get loan in the government schemes, then the MSME department should coordinate with the banks and get them the loan. The government believes that this will increase both self-employment and employment. During the lockdown, 35 lakh migrant laborers have returned to UP.
