Brian Zhan represents a new breed of venture capitalist—one who combines deep technical expertise with early-stage conviction. After spending two years as a principal at CRV, he joined the newly formed Striker Venture Partners in 2025 to focus on bold bets in the next generation of AI startups.

Zhan’s background sets the tone for his investment style. A computer science graduate from Northwestern University, he began his career as a software engineer at Facebook.
